It’s not ABOUT me, it’s ABOUT you, but still people want to know how I ended up here.

WHY did I get into this work?

I’ve always had the gift of CONNECTING, a heart that wanted to HELP others and a passion to INSPIRE and EMPOWER people to heal and love themselves.

Probably because I spent so much of my own life not loving myself.

So when life kicked me in the ass over and over again and I was forced to RISE UP and MEET MYSELF, to fully EMBRACE and LOVE every messy, imperfect, flawed part of me, I learned that not only can we transcend absolutely anything that’s happened in our lives,

…but that I had a responsibility to teach others how to do it.

The Professional Stuff

I’ve been deeply intuitive my entire life. It’s a pretty cool gift that I’m incredibly grateful for but not one that I truly started to use until my early 30’s because I was scared of what people would think of me.

I was obsessed from a very early age with exploring my inner self and understanding human behavior. After graduating from Boston College with a BA in Film & Communications, I started studying human development and psychology and taking personal development workshops and seminars in my early 20s.

After attending hundreds of self-development courses, seminars and spiritual retreats over the years including the Landmark Forum the Landmark Advanced Course, The Wisdom Course, and workshops led by Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Oprah Winfrey, Brene Brown, Gabby Bernstein and Deepak Chopra to name just a few… I felt extremely called to help other people on their own personal journeys through navigating grief, loss, life transitions and emotional trauma as well as helping to inspire them to make more honoring and empowering choices in their lives.

After briefly considering going back to school to become a therapist (and boy was I close!), I opted instead to become a Life Coach and received my Associate Coaching Certification through Coach U in 2007.

In addition to all of this… because I did get that degree in Film & Communications for something… I’ve been working in the entertainment industry for 25 years.

The Personal Stuff:

~ I got my job at DreamWorks Animation many years ago by writing a letter to Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg telling them that I would “clean the bathrooms” or “pick lint up off the carpet” to get my foot in the door. I was hired 8 months later and they graciously allowed me to do much more glamorous things than that in my time there.

~  I’m a passionate writer working on my first book. I’m deeply humbled when people call my writing  raw, real, vulnerable, empowering and inspiring – which is truly a reflection of who I try to be in the world. My work have been featured on Huffington Post, Chopra.com, Elite Daily, Elephant Journal, The Good Men Project, The Manifestation Station, Having Time and Tiny Buddah.com.  You can find links to my published articles here on my website.

~ I have mentored and studied under Shamans, Yogis, & some of the most renowned Spiritual Teachers for over 15 years.   I believe I’ve become a much more compassionate, heart-centered and conscious human being because of the gifts of their mentoring.

~ I have 2 amazing children, ages 7 and 3 1/2 (going on 16). They are the brightest lights in my life.
